Stayed in St. Lucia 704.. nice condo with ocean view. Large pool and private pool. Underground parking, on site bar. Located in Silver Shells Resort, Destin FL. Walking distance to The Back Porch and a few other places. Note the beach is controlled by the rental service. So if you like to do your own set up, there is limited public beach available.
Quality, upscale, property, the staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Such an incredible experience. Being a Chamber Executive in the past. It surpassed all expectations.
Amazing condo! Clean and beautifully decorated! Nice and quiet! We had a one-bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo, with a full kitchen (with dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen essentials), nice dining area, spacious living room, nice patio area, nice romantic bedroom. The full bathroom even had a chandelier in the shower! Wow! There were plenty of towels. We felt very comfortable there! There was an assigned parking space in the garage for each unit. I also liked that there were big hotel luggage carts in the garage that we could use to transport all of our things at one time when checking in and out. The only things I would change is that when you check in/out outside of normal business hours, the area around the office lockbox is dark! We had to use a flashlight to see what we were doing. That could be a potential safety issue. Another thing is that the door of the condo unit didn't have a peephole. I just think it would be nice to be able to see who it is, if someone knocks on the door.
We loved & enjoyed our stay. It was very spacious for a 2 bd 2 bh apartment. Beautiful views, nice amenities, close to the beach, stores & restaurants. Staff was professional & warmhearted. Felt safe & at home. We'll be returning in the near future!
Beautiful quiet spacious condos. Great views of the water & town. Steps (although quite a few) from the ocean. Back porch restaurant is literally in the backyard. Great place to stay.
We stayed on the 12th floor of the St Lucia. It was a 2 bedroom condo. It wasn't "right on" the bathroom, but a 5 minute walk. Everything needed was available, kitchen, washing machine. Balcony was great and we spent a lot of time there. Its right in the path of the private airport so watching the planes come in was fun if you're into it. The white sands and clear water are great, but no shells for kiddos. Pool was fine. "Kid warm" last week of August. The cabanas looked pretty cool, would have got one if we could do-over. We also should have rented the beach chairs/tents instead of carrying our own. Not worth the headache to carry wagon up the stairs and drag through the loose sand.
Beautiful pool and pet friendly. Nice quaint breakfast and great staff. Small deck area to relax in and smoking area available outside. Rooms with shower only or bathtubs/shower. Fridge/freezer and microwave in the room with utensils, plates, bowls and cups.
